Founder and Public Speaking Tutor
At Ready Set Speak, Aarthi Raghavan is the main tutor for our class. She has been competing in speech and debate tournaments at prestigious schools as a part of American High School. This year, she is planning to take it one step further and compete at the national level. To name some of her achievements, at her first tournament she placed 5th in Oratorial Interpretation speech at the Stratford Tournament. She advanced to eliminations in several Public Forum debate tournaments: SCU Fall (Triple-Octofinalist), Stanford Invitational (Finalist), Berkeley Invitational (Octofinalist and 7th out of 200 overall speakers), SVUDL Spring (Semifinalist).
When she was first starting out, she also used to struggle with stage fear. As a part of Ready Set Learn, she hopes to take other aspiring speakers to the next level in their journeys.
